The objectives formulated for line of action.

In the strive for establishing welfare and protection of all members, the federation is stern on its commitment. For the furtherance and realisation of the aims and objects mentioned below, the Federation shall employ all legitimate means consistent with the spirit of nationalism and democracy.

Aims and Objectives

The federation is committed to all the resolutions formulated on formation-day. Following aims and objectives are indeed the driving force of the members.

• Organise & unite all ex-servicemen enrolled in banks throughout the country.
• Foster a spirit of co-operation & mutual understanding amongst the members of the Federation.
• Invalidate in the minds of the workers the spirit of service, co-operation, dutifulness and develop in them a sense of responsibility towards nation.
• Put forth endeavours to obtain information regarding benefits & privileges’ being evolved by the ex- servicemen serving in the Industries, Central/State Govt., Semi Govt. And other institutions of the Govt. And to secure the same for the benefits of members.
• Put Forth endeavours to organise, administer and to introduce family assistance, group insurance scheme for the family of its members provide this perpetual monetary assistance in case of death in service.
• Secure weight age of military service rendered by members in promotions to higher cadres.
• Redress the grievance and ameliorate, safeguard & protect the interest of members by representations, negotiations & other constitutional and legal means.
• Put forth endeavours to secure compensation for members in case of accident, in furies or death sustained while on duty and to give local help if and when necessary.
• Put forth endeavours to render relief to needy or distressed members & their dependents in cases of unemployment, sickness, death, accidents, detention or conviction by Govt or by managements for Trade Union activities & other contingencies.
• Put forth endeavours to provide legal assistance to members in respect of matters arising out of or incidentals to conditions of their employment or non-employment.
• Raise & acquire such moneys or money by subscriptions, donation or loads from members or others as may be demanded necessary for the Federation.
• Draw, make, accept, exchange & negotiate cheques, promissory notes, bills of exchange& other negotiable instruments in pursuance of the objects of the Federation.
• Co-operate, to federate, to affiliate itself to merge with organisations of labour particularly those having similar objects in India and outside and to help the working class in accordance with Indian Trade Union Act 1926 particularly those engaged in Banking Industry.
• Similar activities as may be considered necessary, incidental or conductive to the assignment of above objects or any of them subjects always to the new conversions of section 15 of the India Trade Union Act 1926 & to the provisions of any other law for the time being in force.
