Why AIExBEF

Having seen many Ex-servicemen projecting numerous job-related issues on various social media and in pursuit of an implement to solve them, our AIEXBEF(All India EXserviceman Bank Employees Federation) took its re-birth from once dormant state. Within no time, it emerged as the largest Ex-Servicemen Bankers' Forum.

Branded "The Matured Lot" in banks, we are disparingly in a helpless state to ensue our legitimate provisions extended by the Government. Being together we can earn the capacity to discuss,bargain and fight with suppressive forces.

A thin wothless hair can make a small puppet to dance. Likewise, thorough co-operation from every ExServiceman Banker is imperative in order to overcome existing and probable issues arise with the unjustified decisions taken by the Government or the gigantic organisations we work in.

All ex-servicemen who joined banks after retirement are the deemed members of the federation. The registered federation is established with a vision to protect and welfare of the members. The membership is in addition to the existing membership in respective trade unions of individual banks..

Issues of pay and welfare of retired Ex-Servicemen arise mostly with Ministry of Defence and Indian Bankers Association. AIEXBEF as a fraternity, involves in such trivial issues and fight for the legitimate rights of the members. Some important issues the federation undertakes are :

• Uniform implementation of governmental welfare schemes in all banks
• Uniform Pay protection/fitment appropriately with extant government orders
• Upliftment in social status of Armed Guards to Group 'C'
• Project/persuade with Government for launch of more welfare schemes
• Firm commitment to welfare/protection of the members
• Other need-based tasks

In the strive for establishing welfare and protection of all members, the federation is stern on its commitment. For the furtherance and realisation of the aims and objects mentioned below, the Federation shall employ all legitimate means consistent with the spirit of nationalism and democracy.
